Memories of Heists

by Nathalie Markoch

Crowded faces in the room
How could I try to assume
Creeping coil, smelling the truth
Of that painting... seems uncrooked

Different ways to see one's fate
You can pray, but you can´t reign
Enslaved illusions, drain some veins
Pure emotions left unsaid

Misled thoughts, unforgiven rhymes
Forgotten senses, left hopes aside
Leave me behind... leave me, I´m blind
Crowded souls, I´m about to hide

Colours fading, dreams remain
Fakes some smiles, innocence raped
Longs for love.. longing to taste
Some cruel memories of heists

Different ways to act and fight
No one cares, no one denies
Wolf and prey... deceives, but fails
No, you can´t deceive yourself

Misled thoughts, unforgiven rhymes
Forgotten senses, left hopes aside
Leave me behind, leave me, I´m blind
Crowded souls, I´m about to hide

Colours fading, dreams remain
Fakes some smiles, innocence raped
Longs for love.. longing to taste
Some cruel memories of heists

Cold increasing, feel my soul
Facing rumors, dreams untold
Tracing empty words left there
in those letters, in the air

Imagine fright, imagine light
It only increases the next disruption
Focus again, it´s not the same
Clouded imaginaries ahead

Some say it's wrong, we say it's right
Decide it now, time passes by
Who could improve, who could ensure
Safe in this mourn, but without you

Cold reigns my soul
Freeze the lights... freeze it all
